The Center for Innovation on New Energies (CINE) will hold the third edition of its scientific conference on October 18th and 19th of this year in Campinas (SP) at the Hotel Vitória Concept. Registration for attendees is open to the public until September 30th and is free.

The event will discuss the development of new technologies for the energy transition. Participants will be able to learn about the latest results in the improvement of materials and systems for the generation and storage of clean energy, as well as for the sustainable production of fuels and other chemical compounds. The conference will also update the attendees on experimental and computational methods for research in new energies.

The program features plenary and invited lectures by scientists from academia and industry from Brazil and abroad, as well as oral and poster presentations by CINE researchers, which will bring a comprehensive view of the scientific results obtained at the center and their potential to contribute for the energy transition.

With headquarters at UNICAMP, CINE brings together around 300 researchers from 8 universities and research institutes in the state of São Paulo, dedicated to frontier research and technology transfer on topics such as batteries and supercapacitors, perovskite solar cells, green hydrogen production and conversion of greenhouse gases into value-added compounds. CINE was created in 2018 and, since then, it has been financed by FAPESP and Shell.
