Pauline Boeira (Shell) is the new Deputy Director of CINE. She will now join the Center’s Executive Committee alongside the director and the four research program coordinators.

The new Deputy Director has a solid track record in energy sector companies. With over twelve years of experience in research and development at Shell, she has led and managed strategic projects in the areas of energy efficiency, CO₂ abatement, GHG (greenhouse gases), and CCUS (carbon capture, utilization, and storage). Currently, she is responsible for the Advanced Fuels Program in the Technology area of ​​Shell Brazil, focusing on the development and implementation of solutions for the energy transition.

Pauline is a chemical engineer graduated from the Federal Fluminense University, with a master’s degree in polymer process modeling using neural networks from FEQ-UNICAMP.

The Deputy Director is already participating in the Center’s activities. In recent weeks, she visited the CINE headquarters at UNICAMP, where she toured the facilities, met the administrative team, and met some researchers. She also participated in an initial meeting with the other members of the Executive Committee and the executive manager.
