RESEARCH<\/b><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

A study by CINE researchers and collaborators takes a new step in the development of more efficient and durable lithium-oxygen batteries. The authors optimized a method for obtaining spinel materials with a good perfomance in catalyzing reactions that are essencial for the operation of these batteries. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

RESEARCH<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n

CINE researchers and collaborators advanced the understanding of heterostructures (systems formed by stacked layers of two-dimensional materials). Using theoretical tools, they studied the interaction between layers and its impact on the electronic properties of transition metal dichalcogenide heterostructures – promising systems for developing new photovoltaic devices. The results are useful to design heterostructures for optimized devices.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
