Pauline Boeira (Shell) is the new Deputy Director of CINE. As such, she joins the Director and the Principal Investigators of the four research divisions on the Center’s Executive Committee.<\/p>\n
The new Deputy Director has a solid track record in Energy companies. With over twelve years of experience in research and development at Shell, she has led and managed strategic projects in the areas of energy efficiency, CO\u2082 abatement, GHG (greenhouse gases), and CCUS (carbon capture, utilization, and storage). Currently, she is responsible for the Advanced Fuels Program in the Technology area of \u200b\u200bShell Brazil, focusing on the development and implementation of solutions for the energy transition.<\/p>\n
Pauline is a chemical engineer graduated from the Fluminense Federal University, with a master’s degree in polymer process modeling using neural networks from UNICAMP.<\/p>\n
The Deputy Director is already participating in the Center’s activities. In recent weeks, she visited the CINE headquarters at UNICAMP, where she toured the facilities and met the administrative team and some researchers. She also participated in an initial meeting with the other members of the Executive Committee and the Executive Manager.<\/p>\n
